This won't be one of those complicated reviews that make you think you're supposed to be a mobile expert to just read a review. This is a short review of the things I've found useful, and those 'few' problems that I've faced.
So I shifted to a new place, a new country, away from family and home, and whats the best thing to have on you? A good camera. I'm not a great fan of carrying a separate camera around with me, it just increases the luggage on me and have always been looking for something that may not give me pictures with awesome resolution and quality, but just keeps me going back to the pictures and remembering the different places I've been, friends I've met, and different things I've seen. Its always a good idea to refresh your memory on great times with great pictures. My E71 hasn't disappointed me much... Its worked well enough to make sure I don't miss out on capturing good old memories. The outdoor colours are awesome, and it works decently indoors with a very powerful flash (that sometimes feels as it is too powerful, but you get a hang of using it soon enough).
The next thing I fill my phone with is music. I love travelling, and although I haven't been able to fulfil my love recently; its always a good idea to have a fair bit of music on you for your leisure or travel time. The music quality offered by the E71 is decent, as well as the sound levels. I hear a variety of music, ranging from hard metal to classic instrumentals; so a phone that doesn't fare well with varying genres isn't the type for me - this is! Its got fast search without having to wait ages to hear a song you've been craving for. A good music phone, which I didn't really expect for it being an E-series - there's a lot of other stuff that has to be fit in to it other than music.
The office applications are awesome as always, you can stay connected with built in Email Exchange System support. Multi-tasking is easy, and the dedicated buttons for mail, calendar, and phonebook can be customised according to one's needs. So many things accessible from the home page makes it a very user friendly phone with a variety of functionality for a variety of users.
